Born in Anaheim, CA, dJ ArkAngel (real name Sean Brigida) spent a majority of his childhood living all over the world as part of a military family. Music ran through his veins from an early age, with his mother being a professional opera singer and piano / vocal tutor. Sean began DJing in dance clubs in the early nineties, and found a passion for the EDM scene during this time. Soon after he started to produce his own music, and found his mother’s classical music influences creeping into his sound, creating a unique and instantly recognizable style. Renowned for amalgamating classical pianos, strings and other traditional music characteristics with electronic dance music, dJ ArkAngel produces beautifully melodic Breaks & House music, with hints of D&B, dubstep and hip hop included to complete his varied musical pallet.

In 2006 he went on to contribute “Higher (X-Mix)” to a free 30 track compilation album, which featured on the front page of iTunes for a month, receiving over 250k downloads. The album saw ArkAngel appear alongside the likes of Public Enemy, Steve Vai and many other major artists, creating the base for even further international exposure in years to come.

dJ ArkAngel’s latest release “Dezire (Orig. Electric Mix)” is yet another testament to his diverse abilities as a producer, and sees him effortlessly merge an epic string line with solid house drums, synths and bass, with a swirling dubstep breakdown thrown in for good measure.
